Program Goal 5

Demonstrate leadership in planning and facilitating the use of technology in creating an equitable and inclusive learning environment.

Leadership is the area where my growth is most visible. The Professional Learning Facilitation Plan on Ethical AI Integration and Desmos PD Website that I created both show my capacity to plan and facilitate technology integration for equitable and inclusive learning. The facilitation plan outlines a multi-year professional development initiative focused on building teacher capacity in AI ethics, while the Desmos PD and website provided structured learning opportunities for teachers to enhance assessment and engagement practices. These artifacts directly align with this goal by demonstrating both the planning and facilitation dimensions of leadership. Analysis of outcomes revealed that teachers appreciated differentiated supports and actionable strategies, which led to higher adoption of formative assessment tools. Through these projects, I learned that sustainable technology leadership depends on continuous reflection, collaboration, and ethical awareness.

Desmos Professional Development Website

This self-paced Desmos Professional Development website demonstrates thoughtful leadership in planning accessible, flexible learning opportunities for teachers. Designed to support both new and experienced users, the site organizes instructional videos, guided practice, reflection tasks, and classroom application examples in a clear, user-friendly format. By creating a resource that teachers can navigate independently and revisit as needed, this project reflects strategic planning that strengthens schoolwide instructional capacity. It also models sustainable professional learning, giving educators the tools to integrate Desmos for formative assessment, student engagement, and data-informed instruction well beyond the PD session itself.
